extra holes?

does anyone know what the holes in the top of the frame rails between the front bumper and the valance are for?

there for diffrent mount point for diffrent option on the same frame base..

If the holes are the ones I am thinking of they are for th eoptional tow hooks and/or for the optional grill gaurd supports.

If you live in a state that requires both front and rear license plates like me you may want to use those holes to mount a front license plate holder. That's what I'm doing on my 48.
