Oil Forum

As some of you may be aware, the Oil Forum has been taken off-line.

Vendors, whether they are paying advertisers or not, will not exercise editorial influence over this site. I will not allow myself, nor FTE, to be drawn into controversy due to vendor disagreements.

While the oil forum got off to a great start with the number of posts made, it didn't take long to degrade. Rather than involve FTE in an issue which can bring its journalistic integrity into question, the oil forum has been removed. Likewise, oil ads have been removed.

Feel free to comment, FTE listens to the opinions of its users.

Integrity over income. Your setting an example that others in this nation could learn from.

The guilty parties have had their posting privileges removed.

I originally posted a much longer message in the oil forum that explained this is much greater detail. The oil forum is only gone temporarily until a written policy is completed.

The general conversation forum has always been here to discuss topics that do not have a forum. You can discuss oil here until the oil forum is back.
