I just had a custom built auxiliary tank/toolbox combo unit built. Now I'm trying to figure out the install of the auxiliary tank. I would like to hook it up to where the fuel that is in the auxiliary tank doesn't have to go into the factory tank in order to be pumped to the engine. Can this be done without installing another fuel pump? How can this be done?

I am pretty sure that you need a pump in the aux tank or you feed into the main tank. How elase are you going to get the fuel to go where its gotta go?
My problem is I transport machinery with my truck and My customers want me to fill them up with offroad fuel when I move it. But then when I am on a long trip I want to use my auxiliary tank. So I have to keep the fuel separate.
Well you know big fines for using off-road fuel in a on road vehicle don't you?
Don't get caught in a state like New York Big $$$$$$$ fine.easy to detect also .
Don't think you can do what you want to do with this setup.
If your hauling extra fuel just to fill those vehicles just use a hand pump from the aux tank.
