fuel problem

I have a 88 bronco with a 302 and i have had a strange problem it is acting like it is vapor locking it will stall out and die after pulling a long hill. wont run again for about 30 minutes when you push the schrader valve on the fuel rail it is nothing but steam and air and very little fuel. i have changed both pumps looked for holes in the line made sure return line was clear. and fuel lines dont run next to the exhaust so i really cant see how it would do this...does anyone have any ideas ive run out.. thanks

well im not sure what it could be...but im sure what it can't be...if there was a bad connection of hole in a line, it wouldn't be picking up air, it would be squirting out gas. the only thing i can think of is that its at the fuel pump. thats the only place that air could be pushed through the lines and you wouldn't see fuel on the ground.
let me know how you make out.
