1998 Navigator 4x4 problem...!! HELP!!!!
Ok, guys here's my situation. I own a 98 Navigator and I have been having trouble with the 4 wheel drive. The truck goes into 4 Low, but won't go into AWD or 4H. The lights on the dash light up, but it doesn't engage. You can hear it click when I turn the switch, but the 4x4 doesn't engage. When put in 4 Low, you can actually hear the 4 wheel drive engage, but as for 4H or AWD, forget it!! We changed the transfer case motor, checked the vaccum, and ran it on a diagnostic computer. The computer came back with the code: "P-1867 T-Case contact plate ckt fault". Does any one know the solution to this puzzle????
