have a 2004 explorer eb 4x4 25k miles. am taking it in on a couple of warranty
issues. have been checking on tech bulletins, and at the end of the bulletins there is a asterik with 2 initials (ie, *tt;*eh;*ar;*mj). do these have any
significance? thanks in advance
Sometimes the TSB's have some mumbo jumbo like that. The dealers don't even know what they mean. It is good, very good, for you to arm yourself with TSB information like this. You need to be cautious on how you present this to your dealer. You can earn a quick enemy if you show them how much smarter and up to date you are then your service writer is.
It was really fun for me to get a free rear brake job, under TSB, when the service writer swore up and down that brakes are never cover under warranty.
