Lot of talk about virbrations. tires, drive shafts, etc
I've got the Perilli Scorpions. When test drove the truck it bounced
for several miles. Thought it was due to sitting on the lots.
What I notice is about every time take the truck out, its not
really gone till get those tires warmed up. It could be some
of the vibration issues some have but not real bad, can see
your hand move on steering.
Was wondering if this could just be the natural of lower profile
tires, and the sport shocks (according to the sticker) the truck has.
My 04 super crew does it too. I've been through two dozen Conti's and had several TSBs applied, the dampening, counter balancing, drive shaft replacement and ring and pinion gear change out. Last week I put new BOSS 20" wheels with Goodyear GTs on it. The ride is smoother but I still have the vibration. I've come to the definite conclusion that the wheels are not the culprit, but I don't know what is either...
The General's that came on m SCrew do that after they sit in weather under 40 dgrees F. It stinks... I am so used to BFG's that never did it. I also had Pirelli Scorpion AT's on my old Ranger and loved them. I may get them again when these crappy General's wear out...I do not remember them ever "flat" spotting.
I have a bit of vibration also..but mine goes away when the tires heat up.
