Headers and dual exhaust as well as the Edelbrock carb are good ideas. The Edelbrock #3771 EGR manifold is good if you want to keep the EGR. If you use the #2171, non-EGR manifold, you will have to recurve your distributor or go to an aftermarket distributor.
Another way to improve power and save fuel is to replace the factory timing chain that retards the cam timing by 4 degrees with a good double roller aftermarket timing chain and set the cam timing 'straight up'.
Holley no longer makes an intake manifold for the 335 series motors, but Holley owns Weiand. The Weiand #8010 is a good intake manifold. I have one here, but I am not interested in selling it. I also have a Polished Edelbrock Streetmaster that I am willing to sell. It is a Single Plane manifold. I just took it off my motor after using it for a couple of years. It looks great on a motor.
