My brother-in-law just picked up a 06 F 350 dually 6.0 king Ranch and loves it . He was reading the manual and it said in bold letters that the compter will remember any performance changes or programers that are installed and will void warranty. Does any one know if this is true and is there a tuner that will erase any traces of itself when you remove it?

I believe that was in the manual on my 04 also. I highly doubt that it is true. The only code it will throw is a P1000 which is a OBDII Reset or OBDII Drive Cycle not completed which will even show up if you hook a aftermarket scan tool up for diagnostics. An easy way to rid of it is unhooking the batteries for 30 minutes and you should be good to go. I may be wrong on this but if I am please correct me anyone......

I spoke with Matt(PSD60LFX4) and he said that was the only possible thing that could come up. And it can be simply cleared by removing the Batt cables for 30 minutes. Read this article he wrote: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=418412

I am impressed with my Bully Dog Triple Dog Power Pup. It is very responsive on low end and shifts incredibly smooth, but, yet firm at the same time. The SCMT is a good Programmer to run if you are looking for some safe power to run with a truck that has stock exhaust. If you are looking for a lil' more you can call Innovative Diesel and get a Xcal2 with some pretty extreme tunes. If you are looking into a Bully Dog I am a dealer for them and have very reasonable prices so just PM me for more info if you are interested.
