What the going rate for a complete 300 six.

 

I found a place here in phoenix that say's they have 6 96's with the highest milage being 76,000 and there getting $750 for them.not bad I plane on getting one myself.

 

You should be able to get a reconditioned engine for not a lot more than that $750. I will get an exact price for a Recon engine and post it soon. I've seen V8's go for as low as $799. Were talking unlimited mileage warranties also. Something to think about.....

 

Yah i have a a 300I6 here im going to be selling really soon as im going bigger.

 

i bought a complete i6 that had some referbished and some new parts on it for $1,400 from Advanced Auto Parts. No miles, in crate, freshly made.

I searched the web for hours lastnight for recon'ed 4.9L's and the cheapest I found $1,195 for A loaded block and head nothing else.

 

I paid $1000 for a 1995 4.9 with only 19,000+ miles. It included a complete wiring harness and all the boltons still on it, including air. Unfortunately, I am finding that the process of putting it in my 1984 is more than I bargained for. I am on the Calif/Or line. JimG
