I need some help here guys. I am swapping out my worn out 2.3 from my 92 Ranger and putting in a 2.3 from a 94. Here is my problem, the left coil pack "the rear one" is broken on the 94, so I thought I could use the one from the 92, but, the numbers for the spark plug wires are not in the same places as on the 94. Should I just get a new coil pack or hook it up according to what the coil pack shows. let me see if I can show you what I mean.
94 92
3 1 2 1
2 4 3 4
4 2 4 3
1 3 1 2
"this is what the coil packs look like from the front of truck"
And I am also using the "complete" wiring harness from the 92, including the wires that plug into the coil packs. Is there anything that this will effect on the coil packs.
Maybe I should just use both of the coil packs from the 92?

Well, I put the coil packs from the 92 on the 94 motor, it seems like the logical thing to do. If anyone has any more info or has done a similar swap please send info my way. All help will be appreciated. If weather, time and money hold out, I should know if I did right or totally screwed up. Wish me luck!
