How do you clear all of the old codes? I just had the ICP sensor and the IPR changed in my ,99 F250 and I would like to clear all of the old 1209 and 1211 codes so if that little orange light of death (the service engine light hehe) flashes at me again I will be able to accurately check for new codes.
Thanks,
PS
I will let you guys know if changing the ICP and IPR fixes my problems with low power and the 1209 and 1211 codes.
You can do it with a programmer or code reader as well.
My cruise control wire recently came off throwing a code and setting off the ses light for which I connected the wire back on and unplugged the batteries overnight to reset the ses light. I assume this took care of the codes as well. Someone else will know the answer to that.
Thanks but I think that I saw a way in a different post, something to do with disconnecting the batteries for 20 to 30 minutes. I just want to verify this before I proceed.
