Question Possible Meet

I have been laid up the last couple of days from hernia surgery and have been looking for a central meeting point on frapper.

This is just my opinon and I am very flexible with it.

I was thinking somewhere on the I-5 corridor near old Sacremento would be a central meeting point and it would be accessible from most everywhere that everyone is located.I'm thinking sometime in April or May when the weather gets nice and people from the snow bound areas could travel safely.

We could also go a bit north of Sac to the old farm museum.

What is you take on this fellow Ford members?

I would say pick a date , one that does not fall with a show or swap. Have it at Old sac as a meeting place and then if we want to have a run somewhere we can. Lets just do it.

Old Sac would be a cool place to meet April is far enough away that we can start setting aside time off work and such.

I'm up for it

April sounds like a good time to meet for me. I wonder if my son will let me borrow his beast? Oh, well. I can show up with my '01 Supercrew and still be legal.

Looking at Old Sacramentos calander May is when they do the jazz festival so it would be crazy, so April would probably be better. Lets start talking date.

The jazz festival never works for me. Not that I dislike jazz, I was a pro musician for about 20 years. I race sailboats and we have a big gig that weekend.... Let's not compete with the jazz festival.

Saturdays are usually good for me. Other than that, I would have to check my work schedule to make sure after the tentative date is out. May sounds good. Well, actually so does April. Lemme know, Tim

You know I hear a lot of guys say that they Fish.
Maybe we should make our meet a fishing meet. We can all bring boats and those without boats can fish with someone who does.

Nice day on a lake always works for me.

I could make it whenever, I own a (very soon) to be lifted 2004 F150 Lariat Black int./Black ext. 4x4. Is this just a "meet" or are you going offroad. I enjoy offroading so let me know.

Take care.

Edit:
I see you're talking fish now, I love fishing, I'd be interested in doing that too. Jd_sylvia, I live in Manteca, let me know if you're ever over here.

OK, you started it now. LOL FISHING!!??

I just happen to belong to a couple fishing groups. If any of you local guys are intrested shoot me a PM and I'll send you in the right direction. We have several members in Modesto and as far South as Fresno and North to Redding. We all get along like family, and get together twice a year as a group(last fall we had over 100 at Brannan Island SRA). It's a kid and spouse friendly forum, so keep tha in mind if you are intrested in signing up(it's free, but donations are welcome).

JD, I think you might even know some of the membership.

I tried to send you links JD, but they think I'm trying to sell you something and won't allow it. Hope you figure out the "secret code". LOL
