Custom Interior Questions
I am rebuilding a 1979 F150. My brother in law told me that a friend of his tricked out the door panels and i would like to try the same thing.
Basically, he replaced the standard one piece plastic door panel with one that matched the fabric on the headliner, the seats, and the speaker boxes. He built the door panels out of 1/4" plywood and covered them with the same fabric as the rest of the interior. The hard part was finding an armrest that would work with the existing Ford door hardware. He told me that Ford made a removable armrest in their mid to late 70's sedans that would work with the door hardware on the truck. The guy has moved on and i can't find him to ask where he got the armrests.
My question is: Does anybody know what year, make, & model of sedan has these armrests?
