Friends at FTE. I really appreciate all the information I have learned from this site. Anyway, I had been doing research as to which brake rotors I would be purchasing to do away with my terrible vitration. I spent today with my father taking all the tires off and rotating the disks w/ a dial indicator. I am not exaclty sure what the runout is supposed to be but the fronts were within .003", one rear was way out .023" wich was the trouble, so I decided I would take it to get turned. As we were washing our hands up we were discussing the situation and it occured to my father to check the axle hub runout. Well thanks to Ford the axle hub has about .020", so we switched the disk to the other side and found out it only was about .013 out. We put back on the driver's side wich was the problem side and rotated it various times till the runout on the hub compensated with the disk and now the total is about .006 anyway that said if you continually have problems with "warped rotors" try a $40 dollar chinese dial indicated and check the axle hubs themselves. Maybe this information will turn out to be helpfull to some of my fellow FTE friends.

This is why my shop machines rotors on the car. This method will cut the axle's run-out out of the rotor.
