hello im looking for a 429/460 complete i was wondering if any of you know any mail order places that build them or any shops in or around the bay area where i can find one also i need a new c6 for my 73 if anyone knows where i can get that thanks for your time

well, as for the c6 you oughta be able to get one in pretty much anything that came with a 460 in a junk yard. they oughta be cheap, too. if you have a pull apart near you(i dont know if they have those where you live) you can pull one yourself for about 80-100 bucks, and they usually come with a 30 day warranty. as for the motor, PAW sells complete motors. you could also get one from the junkyard and have it rebuilt. good luck, hope this helps

i bought a new C6 (came with the torque converter) for my 78 bronco about 2 1/2 months ago from Advance for $560 and put in a $125 TCI valve body....i looove it
or you could opt for a TCI transmission for about $900 plus truck freight plus a torque converter
