I'm a native Coloradoan & I own a 1976 F260 hiboy that originally had a 360 CID FE & C6 Trans. In the eighties I replaced the 360 with a 428 & the truck ran great. I made the mistake of going to Nebraska & not using premium gas. On the way back to Colorado the engine began detonating& blew out the #7 piston & took out a big piece of the cylinder wall. I now have a very expensive 428 in the truck but I am building a 390 to replace it with because I have other plans for the 428. I also own a very fast 85 5.0 liter Mustang & a stock 95 4.6 liter T-Bird. I just want say hello & wish everyone a happy newyear.
Quite a few years ago I killed the 428 CJ that I had in my 76 Hiboy too. That hurt
