Good DFW machine shop

Need some engine work done. Preferably near Fort Worth but anywhere near DFW would be doable. Im trying to stay away from all those "budget rebuilders" you see in the yellow pages. Im not doing a race engine or anything like that; just trying to find a good machinist that pays attention to detail. thanks

Most of the IAPA parts house's have a machine shop. Fixing to use the Main Street parts house in Euless. I have used Motor parts in Kaufman and they were great.

Wayne Calvert in Denton does good work.
I also hear alot of good things about Speedspecialties in Bauxsprings (sp?). Im going to use them on my next engine.

The one I have now was built by Jon Barrett Hot Rod engines in OK City, very happy with them and their work.

As far as I'm concerned, the VERY BEST automotive machine shop in the Dallas Fort Worth area is Bailey. His phone number is two one four three two eight oh one three three.

Good luck,
