Presently on eBay are several old ads for sale for '56 Ford trucks. The F-700 lists two "Y-8" engines, both 272ci. The F-750 lists two "Y-8" engines, each 302ci. Then, the F-800 and F-900 lists two "Y-8" engines, each being 332ci. The 272 photos have the crossover pipes, but the 302 and 332 have rams horn manifolds. All three of the engines pictured have the angled distributor on the back of the engine. So, has this been covered before? Just wondering...

Those are the first of the 52 Lincoln derived engines developed expressely for the Big Job trucks and came out in 56. The 52-55 Big Job engines were 279 and 317 and were simply the 317 Lincoln with a few changes.
