had a neighbor plow into the front of my parked 2k expy last night. crushed their 05 dakota which left on a hook. I am in need of a bumper and valance, and the chrome bezel around the grille and lights. also rt headlight assy. Is there a good aftermarket supplier for this ?? No salvage parts around here, central Ohio.

Damn these are tough trucks....

Thx in advance,

Dana

I put a a 99 up frt end on my F150 not long ago. Got everything off ebay. Since I was just updating, I had plenty of time to wait for good deals.

Thumbs up

http://stores.ebay.com/PERSHING-AUTO-BODY-PARTS

The above link is to Pershing Auto...They sell top notch aftermarket OEm quality parts. I just purchased a black grille surround (they also has chrome ones) for $84 shipped to Naples, FL. Also purchased a new 99 - up bumper to upgrade my 97 Expy. Great people, great service and if you don't like to buy off of eBay then you can call them directly ad purchase by phone. They accept all major credit cards + PayPal.

Good Luck

Make sure that they have the item in stock. I won an ebay auction ffrom them for my bumper. Paid the auction immediatly. A week later I still did not even have a tracking number so I called them and they didn't have any bumpers in inventory. Was suposed to get some in the next day. Finally got my bumper about 3 weeks after I paid for it. Was cheap though and shipping was reasonable.

Actually I just ordered a bumper that won't be in stock until friday (I know you feel my pain), but service, price, and shipping charges were on the money!

You HOPE it will be in Friday. I got that run around from them. Actually took 2 more shipments for my bumper to get in stock. But the total price is good and luckily I was not waiting on the bumper. I had a few more parts I had to order.

Well got 2 surprises today, first the other guy's insurance called and said they were going to pay all the costs for repairing our truck. No citations issued. Second, my wife got a estimate to replace the bumper and bezel. It has 42 minutes labor to repair the right front fender and 22 hours refinishing time to spot in the fender and paint the small strip across the top of the bumper. $3500 in all.

Now I spent the late 70's running body shops for Ford and GM and understand the concept of making a living, but 10 hours to replace a bumper and 22 hours to do some touch up ??? Am I just old and out of touch or is 4 days labor for this insane? ...........

I put the bumper, surround, bumper pad, and valance on in about 3.5 hrs. Started at 10pm and all I had was a flashlight and a 60w utility light to see with.

Thx everyone for the great info, always come here for the " real " answers. Ordered everything aftermarket for $465 and $75 shipping. They include everything from the frame horns out. Somewhat cheaper than Ford's $1,750.

Got everything from a location in NY state. They were able to supply everything from the frame horn out. Pershing handled only a few of the items required. They did have very competitive pricing though.

Wanted everything from one location.
Thx again,

Dana
