Ya' got me!!....They work now and I didn't do a THING...I cranked him up this morning and noticed the brake lights on the back fence. Even the FLASHERS work!! Wierdest thing....Sorry I can't give a better report gang, but there's nothing to report - thanks for all the help and EXCELLENT pictures on the wiring harness though!!

Bad turn signal switch. That was the cause of intermittent no-brake lights on my 73.
Also check the fuse. I had a blown fuse that disabled the rear lights before the signal switch went flakey. (I "fixed" the fuse at a wrecking yard - got rear ended half a mile away at a stop light - no damage to the 73, the little Tercel that hit me was totalled - I was real glad I had working brake lights and couldn't be blamed.)
