Question To much to be pullen?

I have 92 f350 with a 7.5 and a 5spd (not dually, or 5thwheel) i was wondering if pullen 8000lb skid steer is to much stress for the truck with 135,000 miles?
Thanks Alot

If it is in good order and has a 4.10 or 4.30 axle ratio, I would not even be concerned about it.

Should handle it OK. Make sure your braking system is set up and working right.

have you checked the gvwr of your truck yet? have you fiqured in the weight of the trailer also. how far do plan to pull under 100 miles okay/over better have great tires the zf transmission uses dextron for lube pull to long you may have a issue on heating there is no oil cooler unless you have one istalled with a pump/not sure on synthetics

I have a similar setup, (see sig) with 3.55 gears and 204,000miles on the ticker, but only 30,000 on a new motor. One of my trailers weighs over 6,000lbs empty. I pull 15,000lbs regularly and up to 20,000lbs on occasion on a gooseneck, and up to 10K on the reciever hitch (w/ pintle). In other words, you shouldn't have any trouble with that load at all. Don't worry about the tranny fluid overheating, as long as its full you shouldn't have a bit of trouble. I pulled 16K on a 400mi trip, 5th gear most of the way, and the tranny was fine. If its your first time towing that much weight with that truck, I would take it easy to get the feel of how it handles the load at first.
