i just bought a 96 f250 about 2 months ago now. it has 101 thousand on it and it was running awesome. like two days ago i started noticing a big lack in power. it has a 460 by the way. it almost sounds like an exhaust leak to me from in the cab but i crawled under it earlier and didn't really notice any exhaust problems. it is real hesitant when i step on it when before the tires would just break free and i was sideways. i haven't really looked into it to much yet, just curious if anyone had any ideas
OBD I Or OBD II? - pull codes on whichever. Does it do the same thing on both tanks?
Check all vacuum tubing for leaks and make sure vacuum can (reservoir) is in good shape, might be air management system dumping air pump to atmosphere that sounds like exhaust. Post back and someone will try to help.
it most definatly sounds like exhaust, but im pretty sure thats not it. i will switch tanks and see waht happens and there is an autozone up the street. most of those people don't look like they know what they are doing. i guess im gonna have to start figuring out thisz FI stuff
