Cracked Head what next
Ok. I have been had. Just bought and unbelievably nice BII Eddie Bauer 4x4. Almost showroom condition. 110K miles. The bad news is, I was getting ready to tune'r up and change the belts,hoses,fluids. The radiator was full of oil slime. A quart or more gunk came out when I drained the radiator. After reading thru the forum threads looks like it is the dreaded cracked head(s). Should I just replace the heads and go on, or pull the complete engine and go over, clean the oil pan, everything. So far no water in the oil pan. Really bummed about the whole thought of it. Paid too much not knowing ?? Buyer beware. The truck is too nice to junk. Sad thing is it runs perfect. Drove it home 200+ miles without a problem.

I know World Products makes the best one out there $$. Has anyone tried any of the other remanufactures out there. I see some on Ebay for $175. Cylinder Heads International in TX has them also for $175.
Is there a long block still available for the 2.9L
