Warranty Question

I seem to recall someone mentioning in this section that the basic Ford warranty will cover an alignment if done within the first 12,000 miles. Is this true?

That is correct- Ford will do ONE alignment at no charge in the first 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.

The dealer took care of the alignment without a problem. I never would have thought to ask about this. Thanks!Kent Kester

Another (related) question - maybe for Jeff Clark to respond to.
Bought a new 06 f150.

Going to likely purchase/install a 2.5 inch leveling kit (Autospring, based on
what I've read on this forum).

Autospring says you should adj the 'toe-in' alignment after installation.

If the truck is under 12K miles, would Ford do this adjustment as part
of the 'under 12K miles' free one-time alignment? Or would the installation
of the Autospring leveling kit void this one-time service?

thanks in advance.
