360 motor
1st post so here goes went to repalce rhs motor mount and what i got from parts store different animal than whats on either side of my trk my trk mounts have the bolts from mount to engine is vertical on back side of mount to frame stud what i got from parts store had the bolts mount to the engine side of the mount going horizonial on either side of stud anybody know what kinda mounts are on my trk if there wrong

Good money the parts store part is wrong.Did you take the mount with you when you picked up the part?this helps.somtimes the monkeys behind the counter cant tell the differce between a 1 dollar and 10 dollar bill.

i checked with another parts store that one was different from whats on the trk also i thought the hardest part putting headers on was getting the old exhaust manifold bolts out w/out breaking them of in the head only thing i can think is previous owner maybe used mounts from a car that had 390 i checked some of my books is says they changed the blocks once in 65 they went from 2 to 3 bolt bosses in the block so they should wrk i hope thaxs for comeback yeah i really like this website

Yep, I had a 66 LTD that we swapped mounts on and they were horizontal to the frame as opposed to vertical. Sounds like you got car mounts. The bolt pattern should look something like this on passenger side
: p with the p being the bolt pointing down. Hope that helps.

got old mount off today only two bosses for engine mounts which means block is pre 1965 anybody know were i can send old mounts to get rebuilt thaxs for the reply so far i got to hit the road i'm i trk dvr get back to this nxt weekend
