91 exp 4x4 not working help
hi
i have a 91 exp auto 4x4 i push the button on the dash nothering happens the lights do not come on first i checked the fuzes they where ok then went to the control box pushed the white button no light at all next got under thr car and tapped on the shift motor still nothing but now when l push the red light comes on steady by the book this says the control box is no good is this right or is there another way to go before buying a new control box for 950 .00 what to do next mike

A bit of confusion around the reset button on the 4x4 controller. It flashes, stays on steady...what means what? usually it's the shift motor/sensor assmbly that needs to be removed, disassembled, cleaned and reattached.
