cant turn wipers off

i have a 93 f-250 turbo and cant turn off my wipers the switch fells the same any ideas where to start

To solve the problem momentarily search for the fuse, in the owner´s manual should show wich one engages the wipers (and where the fuse box is in your truck, i think it´s located in the instrument panel, to your left, just below the steering wheel), and if it doesn´t affect anything else (again, check in the manual), unplug it.

I suppose you could start by cleaning the switch. There's a little cap on the end that you can pop off with a small screw-driver, and then one screw in the middle that you take out to remove the "cartridge". Be careful when taking the cartridge out, as there's a spring that goes through the middle with metal tips on each end - what makes the clicks as you turn the switch.
