Spec's For Ranger

Does anyone have a good site for spec's for a 1998 Ranger. I've tried searching but come up with not the information i want. I'm looking specifically for curb and towing weight for my 98 4x4 Ranger.

All i've found is general data with no specifics showing curb weight for 4x4 with std xmsion, extended cab, etc.

Any help is appreciated.

MSN Autos is pretty good. It should have breakdowns on the specs you need by transmission, drivetrain, etc.

Welcome to FTE SNAIL.

I have the info your looking for, but it's for 99's.

Will need things like engine, tranny, body style, payload packages, tow packages, tire size, rear end ratio.

There were many combinations that affected how much you could haul & tow.

Generally speaking the regular cabs, with larger engines, 2 wheel drive, auto tranny & payload package #2, could carry & tow the most.

4 cyl, manual tranny, 4dr super cabs & 4x4's, less lug & tug.

If you can post the above info on how your's is equipped, I should be able to look it up.

You could go to a public scale and have the truck weighed. Have both axles weighed.

intellichoice.com is decent for this kind of info. They didn't have the towing tho.
