Question

how do i build a 302

yes im wanting to build a 302 but w/ a budget of about 5500 i want at LEAST 400 hp and tq is this possible and if so can someone please help build it buy giving me part number and a list of what i need and where i can find it i dont really want over 10.5:1 compression

Have you considered a crate engine? I beleive that they can be built to your specs. Bill.

A 302 with AFR165s, good cam, and intake will do it.

Carb or EFI?

A performer RPM air gap, with a 650 Holly should go good with that combo. Be sure it is a roller 5.0. Bill.

If you have no experience building engines I would for sure go with a crate engine. They even have warenties!!

Also will fit your budget. Get a Stroker Man,,,,,
