Another newbie
I have just joined FTE. I have a 1999 F-250 SD diesel, Lariat trim, 4x4 crew cab, short bed. I bought it new in July 1998. It now has 214,000 miles and I realize I need to know more about the workings of the truck as it gets older and starts to have things go wrong with it. It is currently in the shop with a leaking Injector Pump. Ouch!! those things are expensive.
Overall, I have been very pleased with my truck. It has been very dependable, comfortable and I have enjoyed driving it the last 7 years. I use it to commute to work evey day and I also pull my 26 ft. 5th wheel travel trailer with it.
