Axle codes
Thanks to all for the many posts concerning axle codes. There is quite a bit of info but I am still curious about a couple of options for a new chunk for one of our vehicles with a 9 inch. We have been seaching salvage yards for parts, only looking at F100s and F150s.
From the varioous posts it seems that a 1977 with a "13J" is likely a 2.75 and the truck has power steering.
Is a 1975 with a "28" a 4.56?
