I have a 76 half ton 4x4 that I want to put 3/4 ton springs on. I have a 2wds parts truck and I need to modify the bottoms of the 3/4 ton coils to fit the front. My Question is about front axles. I want to put a 3/4 ton axle on the front and I was wanting to know if there is a 3/4 coil spring front end out there that would work.

Why do you want the 3/4 ton? For the strength? I ordered a 4" lift set from JCW and they are too tough! There is little flex up front and they are beefy! I think i paid like $150 or so.

I am just wanting to beef the whole thing up. I am getting the 3/4 ton front before I do any lifting, but since I already have the 3/4 ton parts truck (2WD) and figured that I'll throw the heavier suspension on for hauling and a tiny bit of lift to hold me over til I get the 3/4 axles done the way I want them. But I don't want to have to convert the whole front to leaf if I don't have to.
