I have a 1992 Ford F-150 with only 83,000 miles that still looks like new. It is a super cab with a long bed. It has the 4.9 six and 4 speed automatic. I have only owned this truck for about 2 weeks and I found it on a small used car lot. I have been looking for a long time but was never ablel to find a low mileage, older used truck that I liked. This truck has a Leer cap and the truck seems to be in perfect condition. The only problem that I have discovered is that when I try to switch to the front gas tank, the gauge goes to zero and the engine dies. The front tank is full of gas. Anyone have any ideas? If the problem was just the fuel pump in the front tank, wouldn't the gauge still show full?
