Sagging drivers side door

My driverside door on my 96 F-150 is sagging about 1/4", so I have to lift it a bit to close it. If I don't lift it, it will catch, but not close tight. Do I have to replace the bushings in the hinge, or is there something else that I have to do? Thanks for the help.

If there's actually that much movement the hinge bushings are probably gone, unless the hinge itself is loose. A set of bushings and pins will probably be about 10 bucks, plus at least an afternoon to replace. Guess it depends if you want to spend the time and do it yourself. I changed mine and it made the doors open and close like new. The problem was more in getting the door to line back up. A little patience and it's pretty easily done.

That's what I was hoping to hear, that it is not too much to cure. Thanks for the help. Next time I am in town I will stop by the shop and get some bushings or see what they say for cost.

If you don't find any there, Totem in Terrace usually stocks the pins and bushings.

Best bet is to take the old ones in if you can. I found there are more than one size pin and bushing for whatever reason.
Mine was made more difficult when all the bolts broke off on one hinge. I had to cut open the inside kick panel to get at the inner plate so I could remove the broken pieces.

Thanks for the help. I will bring it in to see if they have what I need, and if not I will give Totem a shout or stop by the next time I am doing a Walmart run
