2003 EB - installing Factory Remote start
I have 2003 EB with the factory Securilock Antitheft system. This is the one with remote tailgate, panic, arm/disarm (with driver door priority unlock), dome courtesy dim (opera light?) and mirror courtesy lights etc
What Ford kit would be needed to upgrade this to remote start? Can anyone give me a quick synopsis of additional wiring needed to integrate it into the existing system? IE replace the old module with a new one and then solder 5 ignition wires, 1 FOB, replace 3 broken windows
I am capable of doing it on my own, but age and laziness has taken its toll and I am not sure if I want to crawl into the floorbards or pay a younger person to do it ! I have done a aftermarket system before, and while it was not hard it was TEDIOUS having to do all of the wiring from scratch.
I have searched (still am) the boards and have not quite found this information
