Engine swap, 1991 into 1986
Hi guys,
I blew up the 351 in my 86 but I have a 1991 with a 351 with a shot body.
I was wondering if I can swap the intake manifold and carb onto my 91 long block and have it work? I searched and found that it can be done between 302's so I assume it can work with 351's also.
I was also wondering what else I would have to swap (timing cover, fuel pump, etc.)?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

yes it will work. you will need to swap over the timing cover, fuel pump and water pump as well. since your in that far it would be a good idea to replace the timing chain as well. and maybe install a new water pump. good piece of mind ya know.
