AOD new or old???
Hi guys,
Well this is my first post as a newbie from downunder. I have a question that hopefully one of you guys might be able to answer, I am looking to buy an AOD tranny for my Effie. I have found one in great condition but I am unable to tell if it is pre 88 or post?. The AOD is not in it's original vehicle so VIN No's etc wont help. Is there any way of telling the year of manufacture by looking at it? It has Ford metric written on the pan and a B servo. Any assistance would help??
