i need some help

i need some help

i got a 1994 explorer that has a problem starting and i did not hear the fuel pump priming when i turn the key i replace the fuel pump and that worked for a week and then it stop starting then i replaced the ignition switch and i guess that was not the problem i put a 12 vplt tester on the wires near the fuel pump sender and the ris no power going to the fuel pump..... what should i do???

When you turn the key to the ON position, do you hear the fuel pump prime for a second or two? If not, I'd replace the fuel pump relay. Easy/cheap repair. Also, check the inertia switch to make sure it's not tripped and the at the wire is securely attached.

its a new fuse and relay and the fuel pump does not prime

HMMM maybe an electric problem??....pull the fuse and see if your getting 12 to it then test from the fuse to the pump and make sure you got continuity (dont think thats how its spelled)

Also check for power at the relay. As suggested before, have you checked the inertia switch??
