Christmas is coming

Christmas is coming and I have started my shopping list. I have the usual relatives and friends but this year I am adding my truck. She has been especially good to me this year so I have decided to give her a present. My budget is about $100.
She is pretty stock. I was thinking about upgrading to h4 headlights, maybe adding an external dual oil filter or an intake. Let me know what you think.

Go with the headlights. I've have Hellas on my '79 truck and it made a big improvement. I have the european rated ones that redirect the upper 25% of the light beam down to the road and to the shoulder's of road. I don't know were you live, but were I live it helps alot with the fog and the rain. You get use to the sharp cut-off line at the top in a short time( will I did at least anyways). They cost me about $95.00 for the pair. Hope this helps and Merry Christmas.

If your 79 is as economical as mine I would opt for the 40 gallon gas tank! (I was told it was a 40). Mine was installed by the previous owner, looks to be a direct bolt-in replacement for the original tank between the rear frame rails. Just has long spacers on the stock fuel tank straps. With it I can run 400 miles between fillups! Happy Holidays to you and your's and your truck!
