460 engine swap
I am swapping a 460 into a 78 f-250, but the torque converter will not go into the hole in the back of the crankshaft, the motor does not have a pilot bushing in it, the crank pilot is too small, did ford make 2 different sizes? will a different torque converter fix this problem, need help, must get truck back on road. If they made 2 different sizes, what are they? thanks for the help,

460 engine swap
If you went from a 400 or 351M to a 460,
NO the torque convertor WON'T fit .
You need a torque convertor from a 429/460 motor.
