"Due to the chemical make up, the Line-x is a little harder then Rhino so it doesn't grip quite as well but still no where near as slick as a plastic drop in."

What do you mean by this? Is it slicker to walk on or does it not stick to the truck bed as well?

I actually work for DualComp, which is an installable bedliner(not a drop-in). But, I have had both Rhino and Line-X.

In my experience:
The Line-X sticks to the paint better than the Rhino. Don't believe it was a prep issue, but once the Rhino started to peel, it was fairly easy to keep going. While I tore up both, the Line-X held better.

The Line-X is considerably more slippery than the Rhino. My experience (and I have a tilt bed trailer that shows the same) the Line-X is almost as slippery as the drop-ins. The Rhino falls about half way between Line-X and a rubber mat for traction. However, for walking on, either one feels pretty sure-footed.

IMHO, if I was going to do a spray-in, I would go Line-X... more durable and considerably better looking. Most of the Rhinos I have seen are very "cottage cheese" looking and chalk up very quickly.

Line-X fades a lot quicker than I thought... my tilt bed is split three ways, DualComp/Line-X/Drop-in. The Line-X is partially covered by the others and in 9 months (stored outdoors) there is a dramatic difference in color. With either brand, there are things that can restore the color - but require more expense and work.

Worst part with any spray-in is that you are at the mercy of the guy prepping and spraying... if he's good, great... if he's bad...

Line-X has a nationwide lifetime warranty while Rhino is lifetime at the dealer (I believe). My experience with both is that the warranty was not worth the paper it was printed on. That is just my personal experience and I know others have not had the same experience.
