starts and stalls
hey guys! i'm dropping in from the expy forum (my truck), but my bro is having issues with his '99 explorer sport xlt 4L v6. it'll start, but then quickly dies (seconds after it starts). i was able to give her some steady gas after starting her, and then i slowly let up on the gas and she seemed fine - drove her around a few minutes too.
we're going to get a fuel filter (+haynes manual) and some fuel injection cleaner - any other suggestions?

thanks for the replies guys - i'll look into those.
think i'll try the IAC first since it does seem like a start-up-idle problem. the idle jumps up but then falls too quickly and goes too low (at least that's how it seems to me - my expy idles at a higher rpm when i first turn her on, and takes longer to settle down)
was the IAC hard to replace (haven't got the haynes yet)?
