Hi, anyone know if Mustang 302 IAC is interchangable with Bronc 302 of same yr?
Look pretty similar on the photo I have but both have differing long Ford part no's.
Any help/insight on this matter appreciated.Or alternatively if anyone has an E9TE-9F715-BA or pattern part equiv, drop us a line. It's snowin and I wanna play LOL
Regards Big G and happy New YR to all
No, the IAC is calibrated differently based upon vehicle application AND engine size. So even if you have the IAC from a 302 in a car, its not gonna be calibrated properly to run with a truck engine. The "calibration" is regulated by the bore diameter of the valve itself.
I've got a used one for a 302 truck engine sitting here in St. Louis. Wouldn't be the first time I've shipped Bronco parts across the pond.
Hi Mr Grey, thanks for your reply- figured that might be the case but it was worth a go
I'd be very intrested in the one you have-my bronc '89 302 man/trans if it makes any difference-let's talk.
Once this issue is sorted I'll be well happy,I miss my lil' Bronc esp with all the snow here now
Regards Big G
