Talking Positive or negitive grounding ?

I need to install headlight flashers to my 2002 ford ranger XLT but to safely do this I must know if the headlights are positive or negitive ground. There are two switching relay systems. Can you help me find this simple but important answer!

I have owned 2 positive ground cars (both were 1960's), the last being a Triumph TR3 roadster. Putting a radio in that car was a problem.
