Question Front end wander

My 92 seems to wander a little too much. I have replaced ball joints, tie rod ends and constant velocity joints as well as had it aligned. The steering seems tight and I can't find anything loose undr there but still it wanders. Any ideas out there?

Three things I could think of that may cause this problem.

1. Is the tow end set CORRECTLY?

2. Are the tires ok with adequate tread depth and inflation?

3. There was a guy on another thread with this problem on pu and he found something wrong with the REAR suspension that was causing problem.

The first idea: may be the rear axe moves left-right, and it seems to you that front end wanders (I had this problrme).

It has four new tires and new rear springs and new shocks all way around. The tow was set but the shims were seized for setting camber I believe, but that should not cause wandering. Could it be drag links or anything of that nature? It is an AWD

I think, it's time to check steering gear and links. Ask someone to turn the steering wheel and to look at the links and hear a sound. May be you can see a gap or hear a clunk sound...
