heater problems

I have a heater questions. WEll to start things off my heater doesn't work. It blows air but it is cold air. The inlet and outlet lines going to/from the heater core are both hot. Also when I move the switches around on the panel they seem to be all connected. Any ideas?

Swap you hoses around. They might be crossed.

Well crap.... I swaped the hoses and the air is just slightly warm. Could the heater core be clogged for whatever reason? Or should I move the hoses back now and see if it works better.

I replaced the heater core in my 88 f250 5.8L about seven years ago due to a leak. Installed the new core and it never really blew hot compared to the original that it replaced. It dosn't get too cold here in Southern Ca. so it never really concerned me much. About six months ago I had to replace the core again (leak). The new core blows very hot and gets there much faster. You might need a new core even if its not leaking.
