I have driven a few GT/CS mustangs.
They were made at San Jose Plant
They were designed for the California market like the HCS (High Country Special) was for Colorado.
They had special stripes,side louvers for the brakes, and usually had A/C and tinted windows.

thanks Dennis.that is an informative site. always loved the car it had a 302 4 spd but no options. it was forest green. .I should of kept it, it must be a pretty rare car today. I wonder where it ended up
