Im SOoOo Stumped here please help
ok today i changed the front stock speakers to a pioneer set on my 95 explorer xlt so when i put the door back together the drivers side back window will only go down not up and the lock/unlock button on the drives side does nothing but the passengers side lock /unlock still works so i go to the back seat to see if the window will go up from the back door switch same thing it only goes further down no up i was thinking possible switch but if its the switch in the front wasnt sending power to the back why would it still go down all the other switches on the driver side still work tho ... so then i jumped the wires for the window out straight out to the battery and it went right up so its not the motor ..... NE ideas ???

Sounds like the switch went out. However, first check all of your connections. And since you didn't mention where you jumped the 12 Volts to, if you didn't go through the connections at the switch, it could also be a broken wire.

Sounds like the switch went out then. Same thing happened to my in-laws Aerostar, but we didn't open it at the time. Sometimes they just go out. It may or may not have any relationship to the fact that you were in the door working on the speakers.
