Is there a way to modify the A/C controls in a 2003 SuperDuty? I would like to be able to adjust the temperature when the A/C is on MAX. Can this be done? Is there any downside to it? Does anyone know how to do it?
Look at your heater hoses- if you have a valve in the line, disconnect the vacuum line and plug it. That should allow hot water to go through the heater core and allow you to adjust the temperature.

Lugnut,
Thank you for the information. I did exactly that and yep, now I have temperature adjustment in MAX A/C mode. Thank you very much for the help.
I wonder why Ford would have it set this way from the factory. It seems to me that they are spending money to remove a feature that customers would want.
